PIKUMO was created as a submission to the Wowie Jam 3.0. The theme of the jam was 'Failure is Progress'. The time limit for the jam was 3 days. We wanted to try Unitys 2D grid component system and a pixel art look for this jam to learn some new things. 
My Role:
In addition to ideation, prototyping and game design, I also programmed and worked on level design during this jam. I programmed the main mechanics of bouncing and collecting coins and iterated with the team on different level designs and their puzzle elements.

PIKUMO is a puzzle platformer in which you must be launched by an enemy attack in order to use the momentum gained to navigate through the level to one of the 4 goal coins. The player character behaves like a billiard ball, bouncing off walls when hit. To win, you must position yourself carefully to be hit by the enemies at the right angle.
