Normal Activities was created as part of the GMTK Game Jam 2023 under the theme Roles Reversed. Jonas and Yannick had set themselves the goal of building the largest possible team for this jam, experimenting with how big a game jam team can be before it can no longer function. For this reason, they both took on a management role for the jam and assigned each team member a fixed role that they were expected to stick to for the duration of the jam. In the end, the team had 24 members.
