Overstealth was created as part of the GMTK Game Jam 2018. The theme of the jam was 'GENRE without MECHANIC'. This means choosing a genre that is usually known for a certain mechanic, or has a certain main mechanic that seems constitutive for the genre, and then designing a game that omits that mechanic. The jam lasted 48 hours. 
My Role:
We ideated the main mechanics as a team. I then implemented the player controller, interactions and the win conditions. I also came up with a small footprint system that leaves stancils when the player walks through a certain trigger.

With the jam theme, we had thought about making a stealth game without hiding. The idea was to make the player character invisible, so he wouldn't have to hide. The caveat is that the only way the player can find out where he is is by constantly bumping into things that knocking them over and making noise, attracting enemies. 

In °overstealth, the main character is trying to break into a museum to avoid paying for an entry-ticket. He has applied an invisibility lotion to himself, and all he has to do is avoid the museum guards to be able to finally admire the artwork.
